Caribbean Geological Conferences

The Caribbean Geological Conferences began in 1955 and have been celebrated in very different locations within the Caribbean area. The meetings are usually held every three years and they embrace both scientific presentations and field trips to different subjects and locations within the territory where the meeting is organized.

The Conference is organized by a Permanent Standing Committee whose members are the organizers of every previous conference. They get together in every conference and select the next location for the meeting. The following information was mostly compiled by Grenville Draper (FIU).
