Steel work has been delayed 10 days - here are some construction activities in the mean time

Spools of power cables getting fed into power conduits

 

Grading of the east parking lot

 

Welding curved sections of the chilled water pipe

 

Grade beam construction for the connector between the BEG and the new building. 

 

Large steel tubes will hold hydraulic shafts for elevators within the connector.

 

Lots of rebar for grade beam construction.

 

On the west side of the BEG, this mock-up for exterior construction materials has been set up.  When completed, we'll see the windows, brick, etc. as they are expected to look on the new building.
