return to main photo album catalog Start of the Exterior Wall Photos from March 7, 2006
On the west wing, the exterior walls are starting to go up. Here the insulation is in place, and waiting for brick work. Elsewhere, exterior wall framing is going up fast.
Inside on the first floor, intensive work continues both in interior wall framing, and in duct and conduit work in the ceiling.
These are the main electrical panels, just installed.
On top of the west wing of the first floor are these wrapped bales of mystery stuff - top secret.
The third floor is now roofed in. They're just starting to outline wall and door placements.
The concrete for the connector floors has recently been poured (it still has that tacky sealant on it). This is the 3rd floor view from the BEG toward the new building. The elevators will be on the right.
Looking down the elevator shaft through to the first floor.
View from the 3rd floor of the connector toward the seminar room in the east wing, where the last of the roofing plates are going in.
The topping out tree has been moved down here, close to some of its bigger buddies in what will be the picnic table area, so it won't be lonely waiting to be planted. It will be taken good care of in the mean time, and will get a dedication plaque when it is planted denoting its special function.
