The Institute for Geophysics currently maintains a library of approximately 2000 volumes.  In addition, the institute subscribes to 40 current field-related journals, and maintains a limited holding of almost 200 others. The library provides valuable research and reference material to the researchers and students working at the institute. 

The library catalog is maintained from accurate Library of Congress records, and is available online through this site.  UTIG also has access to various online references from the UT Library system. Lists of UTIG contributions, technical reports, and student theses are available.
