UTIG's Paul Mann, Alejandro Escalona and William Galloway will present a new AAPG short course in Houston, Texas, at AAPG's 2006 Fall Education Conference. The course will be held from September 11-13, 2006.

"Participants in this course can expect to gain a fundamental understanding of tectonic phases and their effects on regional geology and petroleum systems. They will also learn to retrieve, correlate, and integrate large amounts and types of subsurface information (seismic data, wells, gravity maps, onland geology), with specific emphasis on the Gulf of Mexico-Caribbean Region."
