"Numerical Models of Deformation: Implications of Rheology"

Dr. Luc Lavier will teach "Numerical Models of Deformation: Implications of Rheology" at the 2006 Summer School on Rheology of Earth Materials, sponsored by Integrated Solid Earth Sciences (ISES) at Colorado College. The school offers one week of theoretical and practical investigation on the Rheology of Earth Materials. Open to near-completion PhD students, the School further aims to build a peer network of individuals who share research interests in rheology and solid Earth sciences and to provide a strong mentoring experience that will aid the transition from student to professional life.
