UTIG has research scientists working on various climate projects. These scientists focus on the following areas:

• Ice Sheets and Ice-Covered Lithosphere

• Atmosphere and Ocean Dynamics

• Geologic Climate Records

• An Inverse Model Study of Abrupt Climate Change

• Stochastic Represetation of Parameter Uncertainties Within Model Predictions of Future Climate

These scientists maintain close ties with others at UT: the climate group at the Department of Geological Sciences, and oceanographic remote sensing research at the Center for Space Research.
